Major Level
The SCHP has less than ten Majors statewide. Typically responsible for a geographic region. Their insignias are a golden leaf.

Captain Level
Each SCHP Troop is headed by a Captain. They keep the pulse on the road and report to HQ. Their insignias are two gold bars.

Lieutenant Level
Every Captain within the SCHP has at least one Lt for support. They do mostly office duty. Their insignias are one gold bar (aka ‘butter bar’).

Typically a front-line supervisor in the field, each SCHP Sgt handles daily operations for a Post (typically 2 counties). Three stripes.
